Harry Carr Obituary

Harry D. Carr, 93, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023. He was born March 6, 1930, in Greensburg, a son of the late George E. Jr. and Elsie M. Baker Carr. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. In addition to his parents, Harry was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane Buchanon Carr; two great-grandchildren; a brother, George E. Carr, III; a sister, Mary Cope; a son-in-law, George Billeck; and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Carr. He is survived by eight children: Deborah Billeck, of Hollidaysburg, Alan (Susan) Carr, of Fredrick, Md., Thomas (Linda) Carr, of Greensburg, Sharon (Jerome) Asfeld, of Greensburg, Robert (Lori) Carr, of Greensburg, James (Amy) Carr, of Sterling Heights, Mich., Donna (Stuart) Sibold, of Hollidaysburg, and David (Lori Jones) Carr, of Greensburg; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A blessing service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. A funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg.
