Patricia Marshall Obituary
Her family will honor her memory with a graveside service on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Middlesex Memorial Cemetery in Urbanna, VA. Afterwards, there will be a celebration of Life at Piankatank River Golf Club. Those who knew Pat are welcome to come and share their memories with the family.
Pat was born to a family of egg farmers. She attended William and Mary College, and married her beloved Richard shortly after. She adored Urbanna - her home for 70 years - and contributed to its unique character through her stewardship of two local landmarks, Marshall's Drugstore and R.S. Bristow, revitalizing the latter with her keen eye for fashion and decoration. Her kindness and sense of humor were legendary, and her home was always abuzz with visitors, laughter, and warmth. She loved children, nature, gardening, doodling, and spending time with her family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Urbanna Methodist Church and to The Town of Urbanna Beautification Committee in her memory.

So many memories from my start in Virginia! From tea time, lunch and Laughter to Christmas decor, picking out clothes for her shop with her and even doing laundry at her house because my machine was broke! Ms Pat was the best! Kindest soul and a true friend, our family will miss her greatly. I asked about her 2 weeks ago and ran out of time to visit, i am sad over this now, but i know shes smiling down from Heaven and is happy. RIP my friend, and to the family, our condolences, prayers and hugs. She was a one of a kind!
