Katherine Marshall Obituary
Her family will receive friends at Bliley's – Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd., from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 29. Graveside services at Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Road will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 30. Steven Vaughan Officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to VCU Massey Cancer Center.

Katherine and JD were such a sweet couple. I first met Katherine when I started teaching at Curtis Elementary in Chesterfield County in 1974. She was the best Office Manager, always welcoming others with her infectious smile and laughter. Later on, I had Tina as one of my Sweet students. My Uncle Dave was good friends with Katherine´s brother Joel.
I´m so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers, love, and hugs and may your beautiful memories bring you some peace.

I had the privilege of knowing both Mr. and Mrs. Marshall during my 26 years teaching in Chesterfield County Public Schools. Mrs. Marshall's positive attitude and beautiful smile welcomed us each day at Curtis Elementary, where her administrative skills kept the office running efficiently. During my 20 years at Hening Elementary, Mr. Marshall frequently came to my rescue by making necessary accommodations to my special education classroom which seemed to get moved almost every year. My husband also appreciated Mr. Marshall's skills when he worked on projects at Swift Creek Middle School. We were both lucky to have known this lovely, caring couple.
