Mary A. Zulkoski

April 11, 1938 - July 25, 2025

Mary A. Zulkoski, 87 of Grand Island, died Friday, July 25, 2025 at Tiffany Square.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 1st, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Father Robin Bashir will be the celebrant. Burial of ashes will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family will greet friends an hour before Mass time. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mary was born on April 11, 1938, in Ness City, Kansas, the daughter of Linus and Veronica (Schlitter) Pfannenstiel. She had 13 siblings. Mary was united in marriage to Thomas Zulkoski in 1959.

Mary loved playing pitch/cards with friends and family. She was an awesome baker and cook, making a good meal out of hardly nothing. She was an amazing seamstress and loved to garden. She canned and would freeze vegetables from her garden, and what was left over, she shared with others. She enjoyed family vacations to Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and South Dakota.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Gary (Roxann) Zulkoski, Deborah Ann (Brett) Henning, Martin (Carrie) Zulkoski, Margaret Mary Kemmerer and Catherine Zulkoski; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Inez Tauscher, Arn Pfannenstiel, Sarena Pfannenstiel and Vincent (Gayle) Pfannenstiel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; son, Joseph; her parents; and eight siblings.
