We were surprised and saddened upon hearing of Scotts sudden passing. We met Scott through his uncle Walt . We were in need of a mason . His workmanship was excellent. He was up beat , he loved and talked about his family with pride. We are truly sorry for your loss.

Uncle Scott was not only kind but generous. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. I remember him inviting us to his house to pick berries from his yard. William and Emerson probably ate more than they picked that day. We toured the monstrous fort he built for Justin. He was so generous. I was sanding a desk and he brought over several sanders for me to help get the job done. I also remember he was the first person to give Emerson a plumb. I know it sounds so simple but whenever we see a plumb we talk about it. We were in the parking lot of Walmart and saw Uncle Scott. Initially he just drove by with a "hi" and a wave. Then he turned right around, got out of his truck, enthusiastically saying he had picked up the best tasting plumbs at a stand and how we had to try them. It just shows to his appreciation of something so simple. He was so excited about it that we became excited. Definitely contagious We enjoyed the snack and each went our own ways. I think it was his joy about sharing something with us that is the reason we always mention Uncle Scott and the plumbs. He had a kind heart and not a single judgmental bone in his body. He always made me feel welcomed and I appreciated that tremendously.

To Ann and Scotts family: I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's been a long time since I've seen him but he was a great guy and did work for my father years ago. You are all in my heart through this difficult time.

Scott was like Family when we were growing up. We lived on Pangborn Road in Hastings . When you saw my brother Tom , Scott was always with him. The thing I remember most is Scott´s bright smile and his laugh. He was the one that was always willing to help someone. Scott you will be Missed by all and you touched so many hearts. Rest in peace our brother . The Grosso Family
