Mark Schecter Obituary
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mark moved to Fort Lauderdale and opened his own firm in 1975. For nearly 50 years, Mark managed a dynamic law practice serving individual and corporate clients in litigation and real estate matters. Vibrant and intelligent, clients knew Mark as a "force of nature" and a trusted advisor. Mark also volunteered as a youth basketball coach and loved following his favorite sports teams, including the Heat, Dolphins and Hurricanes.
Mark is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen, his son David (Pine Crest, Class of 2002) and wife Lauren Goulston, his granddaughters Ideal and Avalon, his aunt Carolyn Stein and numerous beloved family.

I am so sorry hear about Mark´s passing. Mark was our attorney for several real estate transactions and I always knew we were in good hands. Mark was also someone we could always call for advice and we considered him a good friend.

Karen and David, I was so saddened to learn of Mark's recent passing. I really enjoyed working with him from the time he first started practicing law in 1975, through 2002. I learned so much from him. Losing a loved one is difficult; I hope your special memories bring you some comfort. Thinking of both of you and Mark today and always.
