James Heim Obituary

Our Family moved into the same neighborhood as "The Heim's" August of 1978. Of course they all welcomed our Family and all the Heim kid's became wonderful friends to my sister Shawn and myself. I have so many memories of growing up not only neighbor's but I felt like part of the family. We would all play in the neighborhood The Heim's ,The Apple's and us Adair girls. Mr Heim would work a lot and Mrs Heim would take some of us to his shop, the beach and I remember the Ice cream parlor near SDSU. I have fond memories of sitting in the back of the Volvo headed to the beach for an afternoon of fun. I thought of Mrs Heim as my 2nd Mom after all I did spend many dinner's and sleep overs at their home. One memory I have is as an adult I ran into Mrs Heim at the Vons in LA Mesa. After saying hello and hugging she told me to call her "Louise" out of respect I couldn't do that. To this day they are and will always be Mr & Mrs Heim. I'm sadden by both of their passing but I will cherish all the memories I have of how they treated me like family . Rest in Peace Mr & Mrs Heim Our condolences to the entire family and friends. I just want to say that the short time that I was able to spend with you and get to know you whenever I would visit my daughter seemed like an eternity. You are a beautiful person and I´m sorry that you had to leave, but you are in the best world now. I am truly going to miss you Jim.

We were very saddened to hear of Jim's passing and send our deepest condolences to the Hein Family.
We are so glad we kept in touch with Jimmy, especially the phone chats reminiscing about our childhood, and the "good ol' days" in Lemon Grove. :)
Jimmy's stories and good humor will certainly be missed.
