Kathryn "Kathy" Jane Muennink Rowell passed away on October 27th, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born on September 1st, 1941 in Hondo, Texas to the late Marion and Irene Muennink. She was also preceded in death by her husband Russell R. Rowell, father-in-law Russell G. Rowell, mother-in-law Helen S. Rowell, sister Dorothy Beard, brother-in-law Ken Beard, brother-in-law Frederick Rowell, and sister-in-law May Rowell. Kathy was active in her church, bunco clubs, and adored being with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her daughter Kristi Clendennen and husband Scott, and their three children Kirsten, Kalli, and Caleb. Other survivors are sisters Marianne Sandidge and husband Buddy, Rita Mechler and husband Lindy, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Visitation will be at New Fountain Methodist Church on Friday November 3rd, 2023, from 10:00-11:00AM with the Funeral Service following at 11:15AM. Interment will follow at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section, Hondo, Texas. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the New Fountain Methodist Church, 2980 FM2676, Hondo, Texas, 78861-6069.
