His sense of humor, faith, love of country and life, and commitment to his family, was felt by all who had the chance to know Floyd. Throughout his life, he achieved numerous accomplishments, including a long and successful career in business, however, his proudest accomplishment will always be his 70-year marriage to the love of his life and best friend, MaryAnne, his three daughters, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Floyd is survived by his wife, Mary Anne, and his two daughters, Anne Nelson (Brian), Mary Kaye Huntsman (Jon), son-in-law Cary Jones (Kris), as well as his 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all whom he adored. Preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Cooper Jones. Floyd was a man of service, both to his country, and his community.

It is Floyd's wish to have a private celebration at a later date.

I lived next door to the Coopers on Bimini Drive in Orlando, babysat for them, and worked for him at American Federal Savings and Loan Association. He was such a kind person.

May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.
