I am saddened to hear of Johnny´s passing. Johnny and I were childhood friends. We grew up together with our families taking beach trips together and went to school together. I haven´t seen him in a long time but thought about him often. I know he will be missed by many as he was such a talented and liked person. Fly high my old friend. Prayers to all that loved him.

This is how Johnny always made me feel. Happy. Comfortable. Loved. We were friends but he said we were really family. He was one of the sweetest men I've ever known. Rest in peace my friend.

My heart has an open spot in it now that you went home. I will always remember you smiling while jamming on your keyboard. Your artistic prowess in music or pen and ink or making portraits of friend´s special pets on sand dollar shells will always make me smile when I see one or hear a song you´re playing on!! Jam on, Fly High, and Rest in Paradise!! Till we meet again my friend!

Wow I´ve know you in work, fun and music. I met you when you were working for an Architect. Your art work and music were amazing. I´m lucky enough to have some of your original art on my wall and some tattooed on my back. I guess that speaks for itself. I will miss you my friend. Play it pretty for the angels. Greg Riffe

I was saddened to hear of Johnny's passing. He always had time for the fans when Preacher Stone was playing. I have been a fan for 10 years but didn't get to see them as often as I would have liked as I don't live local. He was a sweet caring person. We will all miss him very much!
