Al was one of the most impressive nurses that I have ever worked with. I first met him as a student, while I worked as a clerk, and then an aid before I graduated. Al was selfless with amazing skills that he was always willing to share with others in a kind supportive way to help others grow and succeed as he did. He is truly one of the greats in nursing ever. one of the few who´s heart was truly in it for the right reason, something so missed by so many these days. Nursing will never be the same without Al. But you will never be forgotten the stamp you put on your saying, the reaching for excellence the kindness, the compassion, the selflessness, it mattered, and it taught so many may your legacy live on, and those who are lucky enough to work side-by-side with you and may we all learn from that and share it to bring that level of compassion, kindness professionalism willingness to help each other to the profession forever. Rest in peace, my friend you surely earned it.
