HUDSON FALLS – Adam John Shaw, 41, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born September 15, 1982, in Glens Falls. Adam was the son of John Shaw and a 2000 graduate of Hudson Falls High School.
Adam was a talented Autobody Technician and worked at various local shops.
He loved motorcycles, cars, ice fishing on Lake George, and snowboarding at all the popular ski resorts. Adam was a very caring man and although quiet, he was very thoughtful.
Survivors include his father, John (Betsy Gaulin) Shaw of Hudson Falls; his sister, Amy Ogburn of South Glens Falls; his niece, Cassandra Ogburn; his nephew, Greyson Ogburn; and his grandparents, Joyce and Richard Lee of Queensbury.
The Shaw family and friends may call on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls.

Very sad news. I only knew Adam from the auto body industry and he was well liked by his peers, including myself. Losing this young and talented man in his 40s is a loss to us all. My heart goes out too those who loved him.

My heart is hurting. Adam was one of the sweetest people I ever met. I´m so very sorry for your loss; the world will miss his smile, his kindness and his sense of humor. My heart is breaking for his family and Nicole. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I really tried, and so did he. May his sweet soul rest easy with Jesus.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I was standing next to John Shaw when he got the phone call. Shivers went through me as I had just list my 35 year old son 8/4/23. May God be with you all during this chapter of yours life.
