Bob was my first supervisor at OPPD when I was hired full-time in January of 1989. He was ALWAYS super kind, helpful, and VERY knowledgeable. He was the best boss I could have ever had. I have the highest respect for Bob. He was a true gentleman. I sometimes use his phrase, "Better you than me!". I also enjoyed learning about his interests in speaker building and design. You'll be in my prayers.

I worked with Bob for many years. He often displayed the ability to complete inordinate amounts of very difficult analysis work. It was always done with the utmost accuracy. He was kind and often trained and aided coworkers on his own time. He was always a gentleman and a pleasure to work with and be around. While at a presentation to the NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission), the inspectors asked where our Equipment Qualification Team was? Most plants had teams consisting of 4-8 Engineers. Ft Calhoun's team was Bob (that's it). That was a very typical example of Bob's technical capabilities. It was a pleasure to know him and work with him.

I immigrated from India in 1988 and got job at OPPD as an engineer. Bob was my first supervisor. OPPD had adhoc employment for six months. I shared my anxiety with Bob and sought his advice and I remember he said Sudhir don´t worry about it. You are permanent. I worked for Bob few times in next 10-12 years and it is almost impossible to find a better boss. It´s sad that he has left us. He was extremely proud of his daughter Sarah.
He is surely missed by anyone whom he interacted.
