Thomas G. Adams, known affectionately to his friends and loved ones as Buddha, passed away on February 10, 2025. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 9, 1968, and spent the majority of his life in Lansing, Michigan. A man of many virtues, Thomas was a beacon of loyalty, generosity, humility, and reliability. He was truly a testament to the words of Helen Keller, "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." A passionate hunter and fisher, Thomas found peace and solace in nature. He found joy in sharing his love for the outdoors with friends. He was a proud and doting uncle, and had a special bond with his nephew Clay whom he loved as if he were his own.He also had a deep affection for Bella and Chewy, adding another layer of warmth to his generous heart. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Robert Adams, and his mother, Yong Adams. His spirit, however, lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his sister Lisa Holcomb(Mark Holcomb) who will always remember him as a loyal friend and a loving brother. Thomas' life was a testament to the power of loyalty, generosity, and humility. He was the reliable friend we all hope to have and the humble soul we all strive to be. His memory will forever be a reminder to cherish the simple things in life, Thomas requested that there not be funeral services or a celebration of life. Just to have a drink and think of him.
