Mary Adams Obituary

Falling Waters, WV – Mary Frances Adams, 88, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her home peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 16, 1936, in Elkins, WV to the late Herman Brent and Wilma G. (Cosner) Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her previous husbands Theodore Emerson Diehl in 1977 and Patrick A. Adams in 2004.
Mary attended Southern High School in Baltimore, MD.
She was employed by Sears Roebuck Company for over 30 years until her retirement.
Mary was a member of Marlowe Assembly of God Marlowe, WV. She was involved in the young at heart group with the church.
She enjoyed musicals, plays, and shows. She was also a redhatter.
Mary was an avid traveler visiting five continents. From African safari to Hawaiian volcanoes and all through Europe Mary enjoyed life.
Mary loved shopping and buying Alfred Dunner clothes and matching shoes.
She is survived by her daughter Debra Ann Faley of Linthicum, MD; daughter Pamela Fay DiNatale and her husband Eugene of Pasadena, MD; daughter Brenda Jean de la Cruz of Boonsboro, MD; grandchildren Nicole R. Sokol (Richard), Statia Merrihew (Ronald), Bradley Faley (Amanda), Lauren Faley, B. Alexander Baughman, and Allison Taylor Baughman; sister Margaret Ann Williford; nephew Brent Alan Williford; niece Kimberly Dawn Shimonkevitz (Mark); dear friend and caregiver Pam Christian; 10 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; many other extended family members.
Besides her husbands and parents, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law James R. Williford; son-in-law Lancelot de la Cruz; great niece Victoria Shimonkevitz.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jim Lloyd officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Graveside services will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Park 7231 Ritchie Highway Glen Burnie, MD on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11:00 am with Kevin Smoot officiating.
