It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Linda Abbiatici, of Baldwin Borough, who passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, July 24th at the age of 72.
Linda was the loving wife of the late Richard "Dick" Abbiatici; she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gina Abbiatici (Danny Toboz) and Ryan Abbiatici; grandchildren, Anthony Konopka, Austin Konopka, Rylynn Abbiatici and Troy Abbiatici; brothers, Bob Niccolai (Debbie) and Tom Niccolai (Noreen); bonus daughter Meredith Mittleider; sister-in-law Joan Wissinger (preceded in death by brother-in-law Tom Abbiatici and sister-in-law Sandra McFadden); and many of her nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Linda was known for always putting a smile on the faces of the people she surrounded. She loved the holidays, a different sweater for every holiday, 94.5 3WS, which never got turned off in the kitchen, her Buccos, and spending time with her family and friends at the Willock Italian Club.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 26th at the Park Valley Lounge from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
Arrangements by GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., (412) 655-4600. Condolences may be offered for the family at www.GriffithFH.com
