Joyce Francis Obituary

Joyce A. Francis, 83, of Hollister, Ca passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Pacific Hills Manor in Morgan Hill, Ca in the loving company of her children. She was born in Schenectady, New York, on March 25, 1940, the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Ruth Connor Francis. Joyce lived in New York for many years and in Sunnyvale, CA, and Jacksonville, Florida. A legal assistant for most of her life, she worked for the famed law firm of Nolan & Hayner in Mechanicville, New York, Lockheed Missiles & Space Company of Sunnyvale, CA, and other Law firms in California. She spent seven years as an assistant of a private investigator company in Jacksonville. Joyce was an active parent to her three children and was very proud of them. She is survived by her daughter Victoria Lynn Crawford of Willow Glen, CA, her two granddaughters Courtney ( Cameron ) Scott, and Melissa Crawford of Richmond Virginia, her sons Joseph Marinello of Hollister, and James ( Kelly ) Marinello of Concord, and two great-grandsons, Sawyer & Theodore Scott of Richmond, Virginia. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Diane Rodriguez of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by many cousins, including her favorite, Linda DiNallo, of North Venice, Florida. Joyce will be remembered by her many lifelong friends. A funeral service will be held at St. Lukes On The Hill Episcopal Church in March 2024. Interment will be at Hudson View Cemetary, in Mechanicville, New York.

Joyce was my neighbor. First one to welcome to the neighborhood in 2016. She said " hi! Who are you? I introduced my self and she said "I´m Joyce and this is Roxie. Such a nice lady. I enjoyed talking to her. RIP Joyce.
