Harry Aloise Klug, Jr. of Plymouth and Florida passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on October 26, 2023, at the age of seventy-four, surrounded by his wife, son and daughter. He was the beloved husband, for 51 years, of Felicia Ann (Marotti) Klug, the loving father of Daniel Klug and his wife Shaina O'Neil, and Marissa Klug; the cherished grandfather of Hailey and Landry Klug; the brother of Richard Klug and his wife Cathy, and John Klug and his wife Kathy; the brother-in-law of Ralph Marotti and his wife Sharon and sister-in-law Margaret Ercole. He leaves many nieces and nephews.
Harry was born on November 14, 1948, in Springfield to the late Harry and Catherine (Murray) Klug, Sr. He grew up in Springfield and graduated from Cathedral High School. While attending Nichols College, Harry left to join the United States Army where he served a thirteen-month tour of duty in Vietnam. Upon his discharge, he earned multiple medals, badges, and commendations for his honorable service. Harry had a successful career in sales for forty years. He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Plymouth, and the Guadalupe Center in Naples, Florida. He was an avid golfer, a car enthusiast, and loved to read and spend time with his grandchildren.
The family invites you to a period of visitation on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Church, 803 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Harry's name be made to the Guadalupe Center, 507 Hope Circle, Immokalee, Florida 34112, or www.guadalupecenter.org.
