Victor Tolbert Obituary

Victor Leon Tolbert Sr., 64, of Corbett Court, Pittsburgh, PA, departed this life Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:35 p.m. at UPMC Passavent Hospital, following complications from an extended illness. He was born July 8, 1959 in Warren, OH, the son of George Washington and Carrie Edwards Tolbert Jr., residing in the area for 30 years, coming from Warren. Victor was employed with Small Arms Manufacturing Company for 10 years as an assembler, before retiring in 2014. He was a 1978 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. His hobbies included auto and mechanical repair and music. He leaves to mourn two sons, Donte' May of Cleveland, OH and Victor (Shannon) Tolbert Jr. of Dallas, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Victoria (Andre) Tolbert-Ashley of Chicago, IL; one brother, Gregory M. Tolbert of Graham, WA; three sisters, Ms. Jennifer Gail (William) Cleveland of Bogue, NC, Ms. Natasha Robinson of Boardman, OH and Mrs. De'Andra (Kurtis) Maxwell of Centreville, MI; seven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., with calling hours from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel.
