David Chapman Obituary

David Chapman Obituary Boardman – David James Chapman, 79, of Boardman, passed away peacefully early Sunday, morning, January 14, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was born February 23, 1944 in London, England, the son of Charles and Emily (Callison) Chapman and moved to the Youngstown area in 1979. David was a heavy equipment operator for most of his life working on numerous projects throughout the Mahoning Valley. He will always be remembered for ability to tell a great joke along with his sense of humor. David had many passions throughout his life and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, socializing with his family and friends, and listening to music, especially Pink Floyd and Willie Nelson. David leaves behind to hold onto his memories his children Dawn of England, Jason Chapman and Joanna Chapman both of Boardman, one granddaughter Taylor, two grandsons Nicholas and Scott Wanamaker, two step sons Ty and Derek Hahn and their children, and his former wife Kathy (Bob) Salerno. David was preceded in death by his parents and his companion of many years Cynthia Hahn. David's family will be holding a Celebration of Life on February 3, 2024 from 4 pm to 7pm at 1100 Boardman Canfield Rd., Boardman. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
