Kenneth Rappoport Obituary

May 15, 1935 - December 15, 2023 Kenneth Emanuel Rappoport was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Irene Ida (née Skolkin) and Albert Alexander Rappoport.
His Hebrew education and Bar Mitzvah was at Petach Tikvah Synagogue in Baltimore. He attended Pimlico #223 grade school, Harrison Jr. High School, and graduated from Baltimore City College. He then graduated from Duke University and was a member of the Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity.
His professional career was in the fields of accounting and hospital management. He began his career with Peat Marwick Mitchell. Most of his professional years were as an executive in hospital management, with a decades long business partnership with Maury Lewitt, Marvin Strin, and Yoram Dor across several different companies.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marcia (née Pfefferman), whom he met on a blind date when Marcia's family was visiting Baltimore, and three children Robert Aaron Rappoport, Lawrence Howard Rappoport and Debra Michelle Hoisch. He is also survived by eight grandchildren Hayley (Ilene), Rachel (Wendy), Kaela (Rose), Aneesa (Jane), Remi (Isabella), Katie (Renee), Olivia (Ayako), and Parker (Wantanabe). He was predeceased by his brother William Joseph Rappoport.
His final resting place will be in Lake Tahoe, together with his wife Marcia, where the Rappoport family spent so many summers and have such wonderful memories.
