Cheney , Kansas - Dorothy (Wright) Johnston, 101, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Park West Care Home in Wichita, Kansas. She was born February 8, 1922 in Perryton, Texas to John and Iva Budock. Preceded in death by father and mother; her husbands, John Wright and Bob Johnston; brothers George and Gene; daughters; Mary, Patsy, and son-in-law Charles. She is survived by son Buck (Rose); stepson Jeff (Kathy) Johnston; stepdaughter Vicki (Roger) Aistrup; grandchildren Melea, Charlyn, Bertie, Jenni, Jeff, Katie, Andrew; and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Cheney Library and Good Shepherd Hospice. There will be a service at Wulf-Ast Mortuary, January 18 at 10:30 in Garden Plain.
