Judith "Judy" A. LaGuardia, 65, wife of the late Louis LaGuardia, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 17th, 2023. Born in College Point, NY, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Virginia (Carr) Del Valle.
Judy shared an immense love of her family and friends which was the center of her life. Highlighted with big family gatherings were regular events. Her love of the beach and days at the pool with her kids and grandkids and never a holiday, birthday or anniversary went without grand preparation of food, decoration, song, and laughter. Judy was always front row cheering on the events of her family in all of their interests and endeavors. From the earliest days of the boy's little league, as Den Mother of boy scouts, to booster club president, never an event or opportunity was missed to show her love and support for everyone she cared about. This love of people extended to her career as general manager of Mr. Amazing Stores to Bob's Discount Furniture. In which her approach was as a positive motivator and coach to those she worked with professionally, of which numerous lifelong friendships were made. Judy's light was bright, she is unforgettable and will be she will dearly missed by all.
She leaves behind her son Louis LaGuardia and his wife Amy, and son David LaGuardia and Megan Burrows; her grandchildren Max, Gabriel and Isabella, Ethan, Ryan, Tyler, and Brooke; her sister Debbie Glaeser; her brothers Dennis Del Valle and his wife Debbie, David Del Valle and his wife Karen, and her brother Mark Del Valle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
