Ed Bloom was my "boss" for many years at General Foods Corporation. We worked very well together. I know that he respected me and my work, and i certainly respected him. I think about Ed from time to time and can say that he is missed. My good wishes to Ed's wife "Eli".

Ed was a friend dating back to our days working at General Foods. Throughout the years we often chatted about mutual friends and the Maple Avenue neighborhood. A fine man, excellent tax attorney, and valuable citizen of Greenwich.

Dear Ellie and Emily - We remember you and Ed well, even though it's been years since we were neighbors. (We are in Florida now. Are you still on Maple?) Nice memories of those years. Thinking of you and sending you our sympathy and love... Gail and Peter Wilson

Hi Ellie,

Very sorry to hear about Ed. As you will remember, I worked with/for Ed at General Foods for many years. We did some overseas trips together among much other tax work. From time to time in recent years, I would say to myself that I should contact Ed and have lunch, and of course, never got around to it. When Philip Morris let us all go, Ed was instrumental in getting us a two year severance package. That was a big help at the time. MY condolences to you and your family.
