Samantha Layne Wild, of Colorado Springs, Colorado left our earth on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, and she is now sailing on a journey to shores we cannot see…yet.
Samantha was born on June 18, 1987, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Mark and Laura Wild. Samantha graduated from Falcon High School in Falcon, Colorado and attended Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, receiving her Associate's Degree.
Samantha lived her life as a loving and compassionate person enchanting her family and friends with her humor, her quick wit, and most importantly her outlook to never take life too seriously. Samantha shared her beautiful smile with anyone she met, and her smile would instantly light up your soul. Samantha's gifts were many, but she shined most brightly by being funny, outgoing, and always willing to help anyone in need; that is why so many friends gravitated to her amazing light. Samantha loved family boating trips, art, drawing, singing, acting, and cooking. Samantha could spend hours staring at the stars, or watching the clouds go by on her many trips to Wisconsin.
The relationship Samantha had with her sister, Lauren Wild, was not like any other. Samantha was a wonderful big sister that taught her a lot and always was protective of Lauren. When Samantha would see Lauren, her whole face would light up and the time would be spent catching up on life and the hilarious family adventures.
Samantha is loved and adored by her many friends; they were her world. If you were lucky enough to be present when she got together with friends, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. Samantha wanted nothing more than for her friends to have a wonderful life, and a glorious day.
Most of all, Samantha was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her parents, Mark and Laura Wild; her sister, Lauren Wild; her grandparents, Larry and Lucy Rusiewicz and Bette Wild. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles: Lisa Rosintoski, Jim Rosintoski, Linda and Andy Fisher and Lucie DelRe; and uncles: Mike Wild, Cathy Wild, Pat and Monica Wild, Jeff and Kari Wiegand; her cousins: Garrett Mills and Mesa Mills, Tyler DelRe, Cory, Ryan and Haley Sichi, Kyle and Ben Wiegand, Peyton, Kobe and Kragen Wild, Addison Wild.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in early 2024, as the family is grieving the sudden death and needs healing time. In addition, a Facebook post will be announced soon for those that want to visit her grave site. We will have two jars, one with notes and pens, the others with notes. Those notes will be between you and Samantha, and we will never read them, BUT I am sure she will.
Dance in peaceful serenity our beloved Samantha, we will miss and love you beyond words, until we see you again! Love you more!
