Glenn Seeley

Glenn Robert Seeley passed away at home with his best buddy Charley (lab) by his side on October 4, 2023.

There was not a topic Glenn did not have a perfect story. Don't get him started on politics! Big as life and who loved to live it. Loved sports, cooking and had every gadget for any Chef. Always by his side, his lab, Ms. Charley who was his constant companion. Glenn's friends, he made a point to stay in touch. Always looked forward to talking about old times!! Dana with Charley will always miss him.

Glenn was born in Paris, France January 9, 1955. He was preceded in death, Glenn's parents Bernice Isabelle Darden Seeley and Robert F. Seeley of Spring Lake, NC and his brother in law Marvin T. Montgomerty of Raeford, NC. He is survived by his sister Beverly Seeley Montgomery of Raeford, NC, his Aunt Iris Darden of Spring Lake, NC including cousins Frank Darden Jr (Sharyn), David Darden Jr (Pam), Lynn Darden Glass (Joe), Joe Melvin Jr (Irene), Bobby Darden Jr, Lisa Darden, Jacqueline Melvin McCloud (Edward) and Everett Darden with so many dear friends Glenn loved along the way.

Glenn attended Ferrum Junior College and University of Richmond where he played football. His career and passion was the Lumber business and then Glenn enjoyed a successful career as a real estate broker.

A tribute and Celebration of Life for Glenn will be held November 3rd at Dockside Restaurant & Tiki Bar at 5 p.m. in Colonial Beach, VA. Drinks on Glenn, would love everyone that knew him to come in his memory. Memorial donations may be made to LAB RESCUE OF GREATER RICHMOND.
