Bill was so good to me when I was a photography student. I missed seeing him in the shop after he retired. So sorry that I only found out about his passing now. He was a great fellow to know and we always had good talks when I would stop in.

Thanks for a great start in my lifetime career in photography, Bill and the Fisk family! Bill sold my Dad my first camera, a Kodak Brownie Flashmate 20 and sold and helped me with my first film SLR in 1972, a Minolta SRT102. I´m now retired from a career in photo finishing, architectural photography, photography and imagery analysis for a U.S. government agency, and photography education. I´ll always remember how Bill took care of all our family´s photo needs.

I am so sorry that LaRue and I were not aware of Bill's passing. When we lived just a few doors from his camera shop we knew Bill and his family; they were all very friendly to all the surrounding neighbors. Bill and Peggy and Billy and Barbara Ann will always be remembered by us as a loving and caring family. Rest in peace until God calls us all home. Blessings to all. Bob

Dear Fisk family,
It is with much sadness (and way too late) that I just learned of dear Mr. Fisk's passing.
I knew him & Peg from my many years at Victaulic - where Bill came in several times a week to do all our pictures & prints- long before cell phone cameras. He was always kind & professional but he was your friend! I thank God I met him & his dear family through work.
May he rest in peace. My condolences to his dear family.
"Well Done Good & Faithful Servant".

Our condolences to Billy, Barbara, and the entire family. He was truly a one-of-a-kind, iconic figure in Wilson Borough and the surrounding community. If you grew up in "the Boro", there was no way you could not have known Bill. His ever present smile, warm and caring personality, and willingness to help anyone anytime were a hallmark of our living there. The many memorable chats in the camera shop were as valuable and pleasant as any photography service or advice. A lifelong friend of my father (WHS `45) and mother (WHS `43), I can only imagine that St. Peter has his hands full with both couples now. Rest in peace.

Growing up in the borough, there where time I spent exploring people and places.
Mr. Fisk very passionate about photography and his store. To visit him at his shop and experience the joy he had about what he did really rubbed off on me and I got to see first hand what it meant to be driven. I am thankful to him for passing this on to me in a way as I guess his inspiration passed onto my musical drive. His love for his family was quite apparent. Prayers coming and hello to his son,Billy, all the way from here in Las Vegas! R.I.P. kind sir and many thanks! Jimmy

Very saddened to read of Bill's passing but very glad to see the many good things he left in this world. He was devoted to his family, community of Wilson, country, and his passion to help others. I bought my first film camera, a Minolta, from him. He and his wife were always helpful as I tried to become a "great" photographer. That never happened, but their advice and kindness was wonderful. My condolences to his family.
