He married Sue Ann Hay on March 29, 1959. He worked for several years as a machinist at CG Conn and CTS, before starting his own business, Middlebury Septic Service. He served the community for over 20 years. He then worked at TCU and L.S. Ayres until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ann, of 60 years, his parents, his brother Richard Moseng, his sister Sally Schrader and his brother-in-law Arnie Rosenberg. Surviving are his children, Melissa (Larry), Mitchell (Donna) and Matthew (JoDee); eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; his sister Annie Rosenberg; his brother-in-law, Mark Schrader; and his sister-in-law Darlene Moseng.
