Linda Reed Obituary

Linda passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 1, 2023 at the age of 78. Born in Modesto, CA to Luther and Elsie Garrett. She was a resident of Antioch since 1954 and graduated from AHS in 1963.Linda met the love of her life, Albert Reed, at the Panther Drive-In and was happily married for 56 years. Linda was an avid traveler and loved cruising. She and Al were fortunate to have traveled to 62 countries. Linda will always be remembered for her sense of humor and love of 50's music.She is survived by her three children; Rod Reed, Deena Reed Zollars (Andrew), Brian Reed (Lacy) and four grandchildren; Hayden and Carson Zollars, Alexis and Cameron Reed. Preceded in death by her husband Albert Reed and a brother Omer Garrett. At her request, there will be no services.

I´m so sorry to hear of Linda´s passing. We were friend in elementary school and junior high. She lived on 10th st and I lived on D st. I used to go up to her house all the time. We had just reconnected a few years ago. She alway thought outside the box. RIP Linda

My condolences to Linda's family.
I remember the young Linda from grade school then Junior high School then on to high school. We didn't have any classes together in High School so we drifted apart. We reconnected again as old people. We went through the death's of our husbands together. Mine first then hers. I will miss Linda may she RIPLinda Garrett and Pat Berry,
