DONNA YOUNG Obituary

Donna Jean Young passed away peacefully November 25, 2023, with family at her bedside. She was born in Elgin, IL on December 10, 1949, to Donald and Nan Stettner. She was a lifelong resident of Elgin and graduate of Larkin High School, Class of 1967. Donna was married to Craig Young on July 20, 1968. They had two sons, Mike and Eric. Donna worked at Carswell's Flooring for many years. She was an avid gardener in her younger days, she loved to be in her kitchen cooking and enjoyed crafting and painting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Nan Stettner; as well as her brother, David (Kathy) Stettner. She is survived by her husband, Craig; sons, Mike (Tina) and Eric (Teri); sister, Linda Fehrman; grandchildren, Jared, Jake, Maddie and Eric; great-grandchild, Myles; as well as many more relatives and friends. Family will be planning a Celebration of Donna's life at at later date.
