Troy Cromwell Obituary

I was shocked to read that Troy had passed. We went to school in River Vale together. Just one of the nicest kids in school. My heart broke. May you rest in peace.

I benefited so much by having Troy as a friend, we shared earbuds listening to a Sony walkman at the lunch table, he always found new and better metal to listen to.... Prong springs to mind. I've thought of him often over the years as he taught me life lessons in my early teens: you can excel at anything if you work at it, music is magical, and embrace and share your heritage and we can all be meaningful friends. I am sad I did not get a chance to say thank you, and the world will never see such Tempest video game skills ever again. Thank you, Troy.

A great kid and childhood friend. Lived up the street from me and we used to BMX freestyle. He was always the better one of us two.

Troy's obituary photo caught my eye, the photo speaks volumes about him. I didn't know him but it's obvious he touched so many lives in such positive ways. He shared his talents with others, leaving footprints on many hearts. A life well lived.

I am in shock! I have known Troy since our adolescent days. His dad was good friends with a gym teacher in the school my mom taught in, in Englewood, Nj. So when they moved to RV, We just had a connection from day 1. He was like a brother to me in HS. I was his Uber and we had such great talks about driving to and from school. I´ll have to find a picture where he wore my tennis uniform and I wore his football uniform for Halloween.he even came to visit me in college a few times! Troy, every time I think of you and talk of you, a smile comes across my face. I am broken hearted for your wife, daughters and your mom. You truly were a special person. I´m sure your daughters have that special piece of you in them. I will miss your sporadic posts on FB. May your memory be a blessing.

My heart breaks for ALL who knew this precious soul. I haven't seen Troy in years, but he was ALWAYS there for me in my darkest hours. I will never forget growing up with him and talking about music and just everything. He was the coolest, funniest, smartest, most talented human I've ever encountered. Rest up sweet Troy. May all who have been blessed with your very presence be forever granted with beautiful memories.

Troy was a wonderful person I am in shock

I've known Troy for what seems like forever. I even catered his wedding. He was just the nicest guy you could meet. So fun to work with. Glowing personality. Great Dad. We would walk home after our shifts were done to make sure we both stayed safe. I'm so glad we were able to reunite a couple of years ago. My sincerest condolences to Penny and the kids. Troy will be very missed.

One of the first people to always volunteer and bring so much light to every event. Thank you for all you´ve done Troy and I´ll miss you immensely. Thinking of you and your family.

Troy was such a life force and a true joy to be around. My heart breaks for his friends, family and co-workers at the Cap Center, he will be missed by everyone he worked with here at Binnie Media.
