Kenneth John Korbely of Crystal River, Florida passed away suddenly on September 22, 2023. He is survived by his son Ryan Korbely of Vail, Colorado, his wife Cheryl Slopey Korbely of the home and a brother Bob Korbely of Jupiter, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents William John Korbely and Virginia Jackson Korbely.
Ken was born on November 6, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in Pennsville, N.J. in 1970. He excelled at wrestling in high school and attended the University of Maryland on a wrestling scholarship and West Chester State College.
Ken moved to Crystal River, Florida in 1982 and worked at Duke Power as an instrument and controls technician for over 30 years. He loved the water, the rivers, the Florida sunshine and fast boats.
A celebration of life will be held on November 5, 2023 from 11:00-3:00 at Crystal Oaks Civic Association, 4958 W. Crystal Oaks Drive, Lecanto, Florida.

Always a fantastic time sitting under the Magnola tree or just outside chit chatting and having a cold pork chop (beer) as Ken called them. No matter what the guys decided to fix it was always fun to watch them. RIP Ken and God be with you Cheryl.
