James Porter Obituary

James N. "Jesse" Porter, 66, of Coaltown, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2023.
Born on April 19, 1957, in Butler, he was the son of the late Russell B. Porter and Evelyn E. (Shawl) Porter.
Jesse loved to hunt and loved to go to camp with friends. He also enjoyed going to gun raffles and riding his Can Am around. He retired from General Electric in Grove City in 2016. Jim will be remembered for always being ready and willing to help out with anything that anybody asked of him. He was a man of all trades.
He is survived by one daughter, Chelsea D. Porter of Harrisville; one son, Adam N. (Paige) Porter of McDonald, Ohio; two grandchildren, Carson and Aubrey; two sisters, Carol (Ronald) Link of South Carolina and Mary (Kenneth) Peffer of Harrisville; three brothers, Bruce Porter, Charles (Nancy) Porter and William (Beverly) Porter, all of West Sunbury; one sister-in-law, Linda Porter of West Sunbury; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald.
PORTER - Services and burial for James N. "Jesse" Porter, who died Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, were held privately.
WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury, assisted the family with arrangements.
