Russell Blake Obituary

On October 19, 2023, Russell James Blake passed away peacefully at the age of 98yrs. He was the son of the late Nellie B. (nee Hampshire) and Joseph A. Blake; beloved husband of the late Vera R. Blake (nee Rhein); devoted father of Barbara C. Blake (Stephen Verch), Mary Blake Crocetti (Brian), and James R. Blake (Tonya); loving grandfather of Miranda Coomes (Nate), Austin Blake, Emily Gross, Taylor Carter (Jesse), and Carly Meye; cherished great-grandfather of Tessa Carter and Ariella Carter; dear brother of the late Joseph L. Blake and Charles Blake.



Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26) on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 9215 Old Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234, on Monday, October 30, 2023, at 10:30am. Entombment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens following the funeral Mass.
