Jayden Bird Obituary

Jayden Allen Bird, 18, of Yuba City, CA, went to be with Jesus on September 22, 2023, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Wilsonville, Oregon. He was born September 15, 2005, in Madera, CA, the son of David and Kristen Bird.

Jayden loved football. He was a Yuba City Jr. Honker his whole childhood and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. In May 2023, he graduated from Faith Christian High School, where he was a joyous student and a member of the basketball team. He was currently working with his Army recruiter and recently was medically cleared for enlistment. Jayden thought it would be an honor to serve our country.

Jayden was a wonderful young man who was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. He had a kind soul and genuinely cared about other people and their well-being. His heart was so big that he made the decision to be a donor and was able to donate his organs to someone in need.

Jayden is survived by his parents, David and Kristen Bird of Yuba City; his brothers, Adam Bird (Hannah) of Marysville, CA and Jacob Fonseca of Port Hueneme, CA. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Ron and Karen Bird of Plumas Lake, and Patricia Nadean Bailey of Yuba City, and his maternal grandparents, Larry and Beje Foster of Jefferson, Texas. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Michael Bird, Scotty Bird (Laurel), Jessica Potter, Casey Foster (Sarah), Tyler Foster (Carly), Taylor Salmon (Ben), TJ Foster, Trent Foster and Tawny Foster, Addy Bird and Maria Bird. The pride of his life were his nephew and niece, Fisher and Ashlynn Bird. He is also survived by several cousins, several great aunts and uncles and, last but not least, his many best friends. He adored them more than anything!

He is preceded in death by his Nana, Candy Foster.

All are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life, which will be held at the Church of Glad Tidings on October 28, 2023, at 10:00 am. The Church address is 1179 Eager Road, Live Oak, CA. No need to wear black; wear funky colors or football jerseys. Come help us celebrate our baby boy!

Jayden was a blessing to many. I remember him as a small boy in Mr. B´s JC Gang. He grew into a fine young man you can be proud of.
