Passed away on Monday, 23rd February 2026, aged 93 years, Much loved husband to June and the late Prudence. Cherished father and father-in-law to Jenny & Dean, Keith & Cheryl, Neil & Julie, Sharee and Gene, and the late Alan. Adored grandfather and great-grandfather.
At peace until Jesus comes.
A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Cambridge Seventh-day Adventist Church, Browning Street, Leamington, Cambridge, on Monday, 2nd March 2026, at 11.00am, followed by the burial at Hautapu Public Cemetery. Messages to the 'Stirling Family' can be sent c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434.

To the Family and friends of Bill . A quietly spoken , sincere friend , who never said a word to discredit anyone . Well known for the clasp of his hand shake . Bill always enquired about my Dairy Cows . He wasn't always a farmer , but he loved all things farming and animals . At one time , working on the same farm , as the mighty " Mainbrace '' . A good friend of the Hobbs family through the 60's , 70's and 80's when our families were jointly involved through membership of the Cambridge SDA Church . An honour to have known you Bill .
