William Wallace Ericson (Wally):
Peacefully at Tararu Resthome & Hospital On Friday, 29 July 2016, one day short of his 82nd birthday. Dearly loved husband of Margaret, dad to Dean & Polly Sander, Kirsty & Karl Wright, Scott & Heather Sander, Rachel & Ian Cook, grandad to Xavier, Louis, Isaac, George, Ruby (deceased), Michael, Cole, and Jenna, uncle to the Sander, Cole & Schrider crowd, and Peter Ogilvy and Toni Cane. Respected for his contributions to the National Parks of NZ & enjoyment and friendship of Alpine and Tramping clubs, Rotary & Lions. A celebration of Wallys life will be held at the Thames Sailing Club on Wednesday 3rd August 2016 at 11am. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to the Neurological Foundation of NZ, P.O. Box 110022, Auckland Hospital, Auckland 1148. Communications to Sander family care of Valley Funeral Services.
