Bill, a true gentleman, was born by the sea in Blyth, England, and passed peacefully at the Monte Vista Residential Care in Taupo. He first travelled to New Zealand in the 1950s, while serving in the Merchant Navy. He fell in love with the country, and in 1973, he emigrated to NZ with his young family and was proud to become a Kiwi. Bill is survived by his four children Philip, Patricia, Christine and Kevin, and by his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In keeping with his wishes, Bill was cremated shortly after his passing. Bill's friends and colleagues are invited to join his family for a memorial service to celebrate his life in the near future.
