Kenneth BAILEY Obituary

Ken Bailey died at home on Tuesday, 29 July 2025, aged 80 years, after a brief illness, surrounded by close family. Husband of Kate, father of Harriet, David and Alex, grandfather of Charlie and Louis, father-in-law of Nahoko and brother to Graham and Avril. Ken will be long remembered and missed dearly. Also known as Mr Bailey-the-Art-Teacher at Te Aroha College for 29 years, where he genuinely enjoyed teaching his many art students. Ken will be farewelled at a private family service, and a public celebration of his life will be held in summer. All communications to the Bailey family c/- 6 Tamihana Street, Matamata.

Sorry to hear about Kens passing Kate. Sending my love to you Kate and the family. He was a great art teacher and I always enjoyed art classes with him as the teacher. He and his family lived nearby to us when I was going to school (Almost neighbours). I remember the times when we visited your house and played. Got to feed the pets when you were away on holidays.
