Wally Cameron, a legend of Waitara (and Eltham) in more ways than through his prowess at rugby. We were at Hamilton for that Ranfurly shield challenge drawn 3-3 which had Wally not gone off injured with a broken leg all Taranakians were certain we would have won!! Sincere sympathy to the Cameron family from the Dugdale family.
