Valerie TROUGHTON Obituary

Happy memories of you Val, when you, I and Carol Stewart had lots of fun putting together guiding sessions for a group of happy and enthusiastic Girl Guides in Thames, - the 6th South Auckland Guide Company.
We also had fun organizing special events, - the camp up The Kauranga Valley is particularly memorable, as were the chip and marmite sandwiches one lunch break!!
The end of year function at the then local Pizza Restaurant was another fun evening
The most special was when you planned, and had all the Guides attend my wedding, forming a guard of honor outside the church.
Fond memories of all these special occasions, and how you added to them, with your sincere kindness, and enthusiasm.
Thank you for being part of these memories, rest easy now Val.
