Trevor DOBBS Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, 26 December 2025, aged 80 years. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Sharley, now reunited with the love of his life. Trevor's life was shaped by his deep love and loyalty to his family. Much loved father and father-in-law to Ronald, Caroline & Shayne, and Kellie & Wayne. Dearly adored Grandad to Callum, Etham, Jesse, Libby, Zoey, Ollie and Chelsea. A celebration of Trevor's life will be held at Woodside Estate, 130 Woodside Road, Matangi, on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation. Messages to the Dobbs family may be sent c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434, or shared in Trevor's online tribute book at www.grinters.co.nz.

To Ronnie, Caroline & Kellie & Family,
Please know that we are thinking of you during this sad time and the loss of your Dad is heartbreaking.
We are very sorry but Ian and I will not be able to attend Dad´s funeral today but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I wrote a book called,"Mrs Dobb´s Ducks", all about your Grandmother and a story she once told me when I was a little girl. You may have seen it. The Dobb´s were great neighbours and family friends and Trevor was always a special part of our lives.
Maybe we will get to meet you sometime too. My maiden name was Carey.

Condolences to the family. Trevor was my neighbour in the Patrick Hogan Village. He always had a cheery smile, made one feel welcome when he opened his door and was a true Gentleman. He will be missed. His beloved Tommy is in good hands and will be cared & loved for the rest of his life with me.
