Passed away peacefully at Bupa Foxbridge. Dearly loved son of Peter and Frances (dec). Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Chris and Ray Riddell (dec). Loved Uncle of Leanne, Shelley, Dean and Sally and Great-Uncle of Amanda, Sarah, Damien, Adrian, Bridget, Jessica and Ben. A memorial service will be held at The White Rose Chapel, 75 Cook St, Hamilton East on Friday, 14 June 2024, at 11 .00am.

I am so sorry to hear that Weir has passed away last year. I worked with him at Smith and Brown, Victoria Street Hamilton around 1961, then I used to see him now and then when he worked at Forlongs. I caught up with him again at the Hamilton RSA on many occasions when I was there with my mum, I saw him in 2022 when my mum passed away he was at her funeral. Such a lovely man, a real gentleman, was a pleasure to know him.
