Thomas Joseph: QSM
Born 17 November 1923 in Eureka, born into a large and close Waikato family. Beloved husband of Shirley and father to Christine, Diane (deceased) and Carol. Much loved brother, Granpa and Great-Granpa, cousin, uncle and friend. Naval man (Royal NZ Navy #10320), long term Lion, Master Builder, maker of many iconic Hamilton buildings (1949-87), historian extraordinaire, and an avid consumer of news. So Sorry to hear of Tom's death , my brother Alan called me to let me know that news. I have lovely memories of my time with the Muir family , especially with my lovely child hood friend ,Diane.Take care of each other ,it is so hard to lose a parent and life partner.Much love to you all ,

So sad to hear of Tom's passing. Both Tom and Shirley were so welcoming and supportive of us during the Lions Club years, and we hold many fond memories.
