Terence James "Terry, Chopper" INNIS

Terence INNIS Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Terry passed away, in the early hours of the morning, June 30, 2025. Terry was a loving, amazing husband to Susan, Dad to the late Nicholas, Natali, Morgyn, and Timothy, Poppa to Max, Brynn, Wyatt, Avery, Oscar and Itali and a friend to many. Thanks to the amazing care from the staff at Radius Fulton, Dunedin, Terry was able to pass peacefully, and we are grateful for the precious moments we shared with him in his last days. Words cannot fully express how much we will miss him and how devastated we are. At the family's request, a private farewell is to take place. Messages to 16 Bradford Street, Bradford, Dunedin 9011.

Condolences to Sue and the whanau. I was deeply saddened when Lindsay told me today that Terry had passed, he was such a hardcase guy with a fun sense of humour. He was a regular at our work functions and I remember one in particular where he got totalled and you had to get him down the lift all the while trying to stay upright on your crutches. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A special hi to my friend Morgyn. Kia kaha, take care of yourselves. Arohanui xxx

Deepest sympathy to Susan, to Terry´s family and friends.

I too have memories of Terry from our L&S days. Part of an awesome crew, unforgettable. Terry´s mop of curly hair, the long strides he took, the surprise at what he might say next, his love of nature, his hunting stories.

R.I.P. Terry. You will live long in our memories.

Very sad to hear of Terry's passing. Although I haven't been in touch for many years we shared great times flatting in Horne Street as young men along with Mal Lee and Ed Phipps. My condolences to Susan and family. Dave Quill.
