Sylvia CARROLL Obituary
Much loved wife of the late Barry. Loved stepmother of Ross and Bronwyn, and Deane. A loved nana and great-nana to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sylvia will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. A private cremation has been held. A Memorial Service celebrating Sylvia's life will be held at the Chapel of Memories, 32 William Street, Huntly, on Monday, 19 May at 11.00am. All communications to the Carroll Family, C/- PO Box 147, Huntly 3740.

Sylvia was a wonderful supporter of missions. She prayed for missionaries and she encouraged and supported them. As a member of WEC Aotearoa NZ we really appreciate what she has done over the years, and for her warm welcome and encouragement.

So sad, so unexpected, my friend for 50 years. Sylvia had such an outgoing personality, you could not help but notice her. Very generous in every way, and a friend to everyone. We had so many experiences together but what was most important to her, was that we had fun. Sylvia, my friend, you will never be forgotten. Elaine

I first met Sylvia when we worked together at Waikato Hospital Board. After I returned to legal work we met up for lunch. Having moved to live in Australia some 27 years ago, we have maintained contact by emailing weekly, and on several visits to NZ spent time together with mutual friend Elaine. Sylvia was a very loyal and sincere friend and I shall miss her both with emails and catching up on visits to NZ.
