Stanley YOUNG Obituary

YOUNG, Stanley Lake (O.B.E, Reg No 459655 27th Battalion NZEF WWII, former Khaki All Black (Kiwis) and retired Chief Traffic Superintendent). - On July 5th, 2013, peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice; aged 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Isobel. Loved father of Janice and Brenda, father in law of Alan White, friend of Collin Post. Much loved and respected Grandpa of Mark and Maria, Dean and Emma and Valida and Rodger and Great Pa of Mitchell and Zanthe White, Alexander and Celia Lambie White. Loved brother of Hazel Griffin. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Omanga Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 30-814, Lower Hutt 5040.
- A celebration of Stan's life will be held in the Trentham Military Camp Officer's Mess, Messines Avenue, Trentham, Upper Hutt, on Tuesday, July 9th, 2013, at 2.00pm; followed by private cremation. All messages to "the Young family", c/- PO Box 30-127, Lower Hutt 5040.
