Shirley DAVIDSON Obituary

On Sunday, 19th November 2023, peacefully in her sleep at Bupa Foxbridge, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Leslie for 72 years. Mum of Diane and Tom; John and Leonie; Lesley and Robin. Grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at Woolertons' Funeral Home Chapel, 8 Railside Place, Hamilton, on Friday, 24th November at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. Rest easy Shirley with your darling Les. I will always remember hearing you answer the phone at Richmond Street 'Are you there? and us giving you cheek, 'of course they're there, they rang you'. You always took our ribbing in good humour. I was thrilled to see the girls leading you astray in later life when you got your tattoo. I know how much you will be missed. Thinking of you Diane, John and Leslie and all of the Grand-kids and Great Grand-kids, there are so many great memories for you to cherish.

So sad to read that my cousin Shirley has passed away.Sending deepest sympathy to all her family & I know they will have such wonderful memories of Shirley & Les to hold dear to their hearts.I know I have some long ago precious memories to hold onto as well.Blessings to all
