On 23 March 2026, aged 98. Loved wife of the late John Cook and Murray Sands. Mother of Ian Sands and the late Glenys Sands. Nana to Alyssa and Craig, and grandchildren Leo and Grace. A service for Shirley will be held at Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga, on Thursday, 26th March, at 10am. Messages to the Cook/Sands families, C/- PO Box 650, Tauranga 3144.
