Passed away peacefully on 1 April 2026 at Bay Sands Village, Mount Maunganui, aged 93 years. Dearly beloved husband of the late Mollie. Loved father and father-in-law of Lisa and Bryce Johns (Hamilton), and Karl and Suzie Young (London). Loved grandad of Dylan, Alex, Joshua, and Daniel. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of Bay Sands for their care and support of Uel in his final months. A private family service has been held.
